Ancient Egyptian Masks

We have been busy creating Ancient Egyptian masks.

First we used the TASC wheel to generate ideas, decide on the best design and the materials that we would use.

Then we painted our masks gold or copper.

Next, we made templates on paper to help us make our headdresses.

Then, we decorated our headdresses in the style of the Ancient Egyptian masks we had seen in our research.

Guess who?

I think you'll agree - they are all FAN-TAS-TIC!

Ancient Egyptians

Our topic this half term has been Earliest Civilisations and our focus has been the Ancient Egyptians.

For homework we researched why and how the pyramids were built.  Then we made our own out of Lego, paper, card, papier mache, water bombs, playdough and even gingerbread and cake!

Take a look - they were all fantastic!

Well done Year 3/4!

This half term our Science topic is Electricity.

We started by finding out what we already know.

Then we experimented with wire and batteries to see if we could make a bulb light up.
