Shoes Glorious Shoes!

As part of planning our Non-Chronological Reports, we investigated and evaluated lots of different sorts of shoes (kindly lent to us by Miss Bates from her extensive collection!).
We talked about what the shoes were made from, who they were made for and when they would be worn e.g., on holiday, in the snow, for a party ...
As our reports will need to be balanced, we also thought about the positives and negatives of each pair of shoes.
We then started to design our own shoe, aimed at a specific target market, labelling materials, special features etc.

Magical Maths!

We had great fun this morning using our problem solving skills for Maths sequencing problems. We worked in groups to predict terms in a range of sequences, using our times table knowledge and a range of practical apparatus.
