Divali

As part of British Values Week we learned about Sikhism, and we found out that Sikhs, as well as Hindus, celebrate Divali.  We used the TASC wheel to plan and make diva lamps.  Then, on Divali (November 11th), we lit the lamps.  We talked about the significance of Divali.  And, as it was also Armisitice Day, we thought about all those killed in war and said our own personal prayers for our friends and family.
